Overview of the stand which exposed engines prototypes kindly lent by the Museum of Mulhouse

Alfred Wurmser was signing his magnificent book dedicated to his father who was mechanic at Bugatti race team

Engines attracted numerous guests and aroused very technical discussions...

Engine Type 73A, prototype conceived after 1940 for a light car. On 1500 cc,
4 cylinders, 3 valves by cylinder, compressor Roots type.

Engine Type 13, build to more than 1000 copies between 1922 and 1926,
1500 cc, 4 cylinders, camshaft in head, 4 valves by cylinder, approximately 40 bhp at 4000 Rpm

Engine type 251, conceived by Colombo in 1954 to equip the Bugatti F1 of that time. 2432 cc, 8 straight cylinders, 2 camshafts in head, 2 valves by cylinder, approximately 250 bhp at 9500 Rpm

Engine Type 50T, built to 65 copies from 1930 till 1934. 4972 cc, 8 straight cylinders, 2 camshafts in head, 2 valves by cylinders, compressor Roots type, approximately 200 bhp at 4000 Rpm

Engine Type 68, prototype conceived in 1941 to equip a light car or a motorcycle. 370 cc, 2 camshaft in head, 16 valves, compressor, clutch monodisc. We speak about a speed of rotation of 8000 Rpm !

The famous Bugatti workbench vice, which are today very sought-after...
